It's hard for me to believe this, but my baby is about to turn four! Keeping up with her brothers is a top priority right now. In order to help her with that, we decided she needed a new big girl bike. She loves the idea of riding a bike, but she has been reluctant to actually learn. We have tried a lot of different bikes unsuccessfully. We gave it one last shot with this beauty from Schwinn's new SmartStart line. When she first saw it, she definitely oohed and ahhhed! It's about as girly as it gets. And it fits her better too, so she is much more comfortable and confident. The pedals are shaped like flowers, the handlebar grips are much more comfortable, the seat is the perfect size and the basket is a must-have. I have to say, the basket was her biggest motivator to give it another shot. Now she can tote around her gazillion stuffed animals. While she loves her bike, we are still practicing, and I don't think we will be taking the training wheels off just yet.
